Nestlé Philippines and Water

Since 2000, Nestlé Philippines, has continuously increased production to meet the increasing demand of our products. But despite this increase in production, our water consumption or water withdrawal rate and waste water discharge rates have decreased.

Water and the continuous availability of water is crucial for Nestlé Philippines as the raw materials that we purchase need water to survive, we use water to produce our products and our products are consumed with water.

Nestlé Philippines consistently works to continue reducing the amount of water used per kilo of food and beverage produced. This video summarizes a number of Nestlé Philippines water efficiency initiatives to further contribute to the preservation of this precious natural resource. It also features Nestlé Philippines' efforts in treating its waste water as well as water education and awareness initiatives conducted for various stakeholders.
