"I made this from scratch!"

Have you always wanted to declare that in the kitchen? :) Here's a recipe from Nestlé Cream and Chef Sharwin Tee that will make you do just that!

 

Wow your family’s taste buds with a Luscious Lime Sorbet, made fresh from scratch! :)

 

Ingredients:
Zest of 5 limes, finely chopped
1 cup lime juice
1 ½ pack NESTLÉ Cream
½ cup sugar or honey
1 cup water
2 drops green food color (optional)

Procedure:
1. Combine all ingredients in a large freezer-friendly airtight container. Freeze for 2 hours. When ice crystals have begun to form, remove from freezer. Mix to break up crystals and freeze again.

2. Repeat procedure every hour until mixture is slushy in consistency. Keep frozen until ready to serve. To serve, scoop into small glasses or sugar cones.

 

And there you have it--all that's left is your proud declaration of "I made this from scratch!"
