The Company was awarded this year’s Gawad Sinop
Corporate Award for Excellence in Supply Management Practices for
instituting best practices and human resource development programs
on Supply Management.
Nestlé also received a special recognition for
demonstrating excellence in the field of logistics operations. The award was
given by the Philippine Society for Supply Management (PISM) and the Society of
Fellows in Supply Management (SOFISM) during its annual Supply Link Regional
Conference, held at the SMX Convention Center. The conference was attended by
distinguished personalities from both the private and government sectors and
showcased best practices in supply management.

Nestlé Philippines’ entry, entitled “Going Beyond Nestlé:
Leveraging Best Practices to Business Partners and Bringing the 3PL Industry to
Greater Heights”, underscored its contribution to the development of the Supply
Management Profession in the country by institutionalizing the Nestlé
Continuous Excellence as an enabler of several successes in Supply Chain
Management as well as a number of initiatives that promote the development of
our Distributor Partners and our Third Party Logistics Service Providers.
Physical Logistics Head Meo Dela Cruz received the award
on behalf of the
Company. “We are deeply honored to receive this great
recognition from the PISM and SOFISM. These awards inspire us to further
leverage on best practices in Nestlé and strengthen our commitment to
contribute to the development of the Supply Management Profession,” Meo shared.
